Khalid is a senior executive and board leader with over 30 years of experience spanning energy, technology, and industrial development in Saudi Arabia and internationally. Holding a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, he has built a distinguished career at the intersection of public policy, technology commercialization, and strategic transformation.

He served as Vice President for Renewable Energy at King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE), where he led the establishment of Saudi Arabia's renewable energy sector, and as Deputy Minister for Industry at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, where he spearheaded the development of the National Industrial Strategy. Earlier, he directed the Atomic Energy Research Institute and the Technology Development Center at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), leading the development of the National Science and Technology Plan of Saudi Arabia.

Ibrahim is a catalyst for advancing GHG and ESG disclosure across industries. Renowned for his visionary leadership, Ibrahim blends deep expertise in sustainability with high-impact roles on government and corporate boards.

He has architected transformative strategies that elevate clarity and ambition at every level. Ibrahim's legacy includes shaping national innovation agendas, such as Saudi Arabia's research, development, and innovation strategy, and spearheading the creation of the Investment Knowledge Center for the Ministry of Investment. His analytical rigor, strategic foresight, and dedication to global sustainability standards continue to drive measurable progress for organizations and the broader climate agenda.

Joanna is a recognized authority in GHG and ESG reporting and assurance. With more than 25 years of sustainability expertise, including 16 years based in Bahrain shaping the MENA region's ESG landscape, Joanna holds top international credentials in ESG reporting, AA1000 assurance, and ISO 14064-3 GHG verification.

She partners with organizations to unlock industry leadership and compliance through rigorous reporting and independent assurance, driving tangible sustainability outcomes. Joanna's impact includes serving on the inaugural Women in Clean Energy Board for MENA, being awarded Bahrain's first International Finance Corporate Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (IFC EDGE Expert) certification, and pioneering the national Energy Efficiency agenda. Prior to moving to Bahrain, Joanna helped shape the UK's landmark energy policy as a government energy economist. Her birthright alignment to sustainability as a New Zealander, global perspective, and results-driven approach make her a trusted advisor for advancing climate and ESG ambitions.
